What types of IDs are approved?
At Devote, we strive to ensure a smooth and secure expense management process for non-profit organizations. When it comes to verifying the identity of users, we have specific guidelines for the types of IDs that are approved.
These approved IDs help us maintain the integrity and confidentiality of financial transactions.
The following are the types of IDs that we consider as approved for identity verification purposes:
1. Passport: A valid and unexpired passport from any country is accepted as a recognized form of identification. Passports are widely recognized internationally and provide a reliable means of verifying one's identity.
2. National Identity Card: Government-issued national identity cards, such as the Social Security card in the United States, are accepted. These cards are issued to residents and citizens and are widely recognized as a valid proof of identification.
3. Driver's License: A valid and unexpired driver's license is another form of identification that we approve. Driver's licenses are widely accepted and issued by government authorities to individuals who have passed their driving tests.
It's important to note that the above list is not exhaustive, and other forms of government-issued photo identification may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Our primary goal is to ensure that the IDs provided for identity verification are secure, reliable, and widely accepted.
At Devote, we prioritize the security and privacy of our users, and by approving specific types of IDs, we can maintain a robust and trustworthy expense management system.
